Mark Pryor is a professional drummer and drum instructor. Mark has been playing drums for nearly half a century, and teaching the drums for the past 35 years. His professional career includes musical styles as various as funk, county, rock, pop and jazz.
Mark has performed with several touring acts and musicians including the Coasters, Eric Marienthal (of Chick Corea, and Al Hirt), Kim Manning (George Clinton), Michael Bliss, Kelly Bowlin Band, an Orange County Music Awards winner.
| Mark’s Southern California stage experience includes large venues such as the Galaxy Theater, the House of Blues, Oceanside Pier Bowl, the Coach House, the Belly Up Tavern, Royce Hall, sharing the stage with renown bands including The Spin Doctors, Ambrosia, Rick James, Blasters, Brother, Tommy Flannigan Trio, Ella Fitzgerald, Dave Mason, America, Orleans, The Derek Trucks Band, Al Stewart, Jefferson Starship, Bob Mould, Savoy Brown, and more. Mark has recorded with the Kelly Bowlin Band (on Coach House Records), and Pat Shea (Full Force Recording Studios). |
